St John Ambulance South West Band

St John Ambulance has many voluntary musicians (in a variety of bands) who help to raise the profile of the Organisation in terms of fundraising, public relations and ceremonial events. These musicians provide a music service to the general public, St John Ambulance and, on occasions, members of the Royal Family.

Formed in 2005 for a Christmas Carol Service we now perform across the South West and further afield, from school fetes and supermarkets to Wells Cathedral and St Pauls Cathedral.

​

Although we are part of St John Ambulance, the Nation's leading First Aid charity, you do not need to be a St John Ambulance volunteer to join us.

​

We are a wind band of all ages and abilities so are able to support less experienced players to develop a high performance standard as both ensemble players and soloists.
